DUE TO OVERWHELMING INTEREST IN U13 U14 & U15 BOYS TEAMS FOR 2010/2011 SEASONS, WE HAVE SWITCHED LOCATIONS OF TRYOUTS TO CLINTONWOOD PARK FOR ALL THREE DATES. TIMES ARE THE SAME, BUT LOCATION IS CHANGED FROM OAKLAND YARD TO CLINTONWOOD PARK. PLEASE REVIEW TRYOUT PAGES FOR DETAILS

U12BW and U12GW PLAY UP SPRING 2010

These two teams played up in U13 MYSL (11v11) formats this Spring and challenged themselves significantly. The U12GW finished 5-4 for the season as did two other teams finishing 4th only by goal difference.

Free Training for Soccer Players

There will be three free training sessions put on by the newly organized Michigan Impact Soccer Club coaches at Oakland Yard Athletics this week:

Tuesday June 8th At Oakland Yard Athletics

U12/U13 Boys 5:00pm-6:30pm

U14 Boys 6:30pm-8:00pm

Wednesday June 9 At Oakland Yard Athletics

U11 Boys 6:00 8:00 pm

Thursday June 10 At Springfield Plains Elementary

U8/U9/U10 Boys and Girls 5:30-7:00pm

Oakland Yard Athletics is located at 5328 Highland Rd (M-59) between Crescent Lake and Airport Rd

Springfield Plains is locate at 8620 Holcomb Rd on north side of Clarkston

WestLake Invitational Highlights

Impact 99 White(U11B) won with a come-from-behind victory to take the Championship of their division against Avon United with a 7-6 victory. Impact 98 Blue, Impact 97 Blue and Impact 00 White were runners up in their divisions.

Impact Players selected for Regional Olympic Development Team- congratulations to Alex K. and Jack C. who were recently selected for this honor.

Clarkston Soccer Club and Michigan Strikers Merge to Form Michigan Impact

The Clarkston Soccer Club and Michigan Strikers soccer Clubs are merging for Fall 2010.The club will be operating as the Michigan Impact. Tryouts on June 12,13th and 14th will be held at both Clintonwood Park and at Oakland Yard Athletics.

Memorial Day Weekend Activities

There are no home games due to the Memorial Day Holiday.

The Club has seven teams going to the Westlake Invitational in Westlake, Ohio. Watch this site for results.

Novi Jaguar Tournament Results

CSC teams did well at the Novi Tournament at the May 7,8,9th in spite of very challenging weather conditions. All Friday night games were rained out and games had to be condensed into Saturday and Sunday.

Champions- Todd Rajala's Impact 98 White U12Boys went undefeated to take their division only giving up one goal "playing up" an age division in U13 .

Runners Up- Impact 99 Blue U11 Boys were runners up in their division.

CSC Shadows 00 White U10 Girls also placed second in their division.

Shadows 98 Blue U12 Girls went 1-1-1

Shadows 96 U14G - first in divisional play at Oakland Yard Athletics

The CSC U14G team placed first in their division for the third Session of indoor play at OYA. The team moves outdoor in MSPSP Classic 2 division where they dominated play last Fall.

Impact Teams Advance to Finals of Spring Tournaments

CSC Impact 01 White (U9Boys) were runners up in the Crew Spring Classic in Grand Rapids, MI on April 18th. The team went 2-1-1. They tied the tournament winning team in their third game and lost by one goal to the same team in the final. This was a very good showing for the boys in their first tournament ever!

CSC Impact 97 White (U13Boys) were runners up in the Nike Spring Classic in Schaumburg, Illinois on April 24th.Impact 97 White competed in the Premier Division against teams from around the Midwest.

Congratulations to both teams for their excellent showing in these tournaments!
